I have been in the roofing industry for 11 years, with a strong emphasis on storm damage restoration. For the first 8 years of my career, I would travel around the country helping homeowners through the daunting insurance process to recover their homes from hailstorms, hurricanes, and tornados. Originally from the Tumalo area, I really wanted to move back home and start my own business.
I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities, including snowboarding, riding motorcycles, and hiking with my wife and two dogs. I also enjoy participating in music events all over the area.

“Mike Brackenbrough was the one who came out after a big hail storm we had in Bend, OR. He was able to quickly identify damage to the roof which our insurance ended up covering (We had previously had another company come out to evaluate the roof and they said they didn’t find sufficient damage and insurance wouldn’t cover it AND it would have cost another 20% more that Tin Shield Roofing!). Without Mike’s expertise, our roof would probably never have been replaced and would have remained damaged. It was a very quick process from start to finish and with no hiccups with the insurance company. Mike helped us get all of the pertinent information to the adjuster to complete the claim and even showed up when the adjuster was here to answer any questions.
Mike showed us a variety of colors for our roof and ended up with a really nice color that matched our house and looks fantastic. We even ended up getting some roof vents to help move humid air around better and keep our house cooler. Five stars across the board!”
