Joel Cohen has been operating as a business owner since 1994, having started his first service business in Anchorage, Alaska (Alaska’s Quality Carpet Care - renamed to Steamtech, Inc). Through intense study and application of marketing strategies, coupled with his commitment to customer service, in just under nine years his first business grew from $0 to over $365,000 per year in sales. Before relocating to Bend, OR in late 2002, he successfully sold Steamtech, Inc.

After settling in Bend, Joel started another business (Always Clean, LLC - later renamed to EcoSafe Carpet Cleaning) offering a monthly membership program to customers, completely filling the membership capacity within six months of operations. After nine years, Joel successfully marketed and sold his second business in 2011.

Joel next worked with a marketing firm in Arizona, continuing his education through their Genius Network program ($25K per year membership), and also headed up their international division which helps their business’ clientele learn client acquisition and retention.

This work experience further equipped Joel in his abilities to build businesses through highly effective marketing. In 2014, Joel began helping with client acquisition as a subcontractor for a company, supplying wholesale cabinetry in Bend, OR. In 2017 starting total operations management for this location, Joel put into place a team that now allows the business to operate with very little of his own time, generating between $1-2 million in sales per year.
